Resort weddings on Al Marjan Island and across Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah's resorts, including those on Al Marjan Island, offer ballrooms, reception rooms and wedding packages. Sparkling Sandset works as the design and production layer inside the resort you choose, adding the styling, staging, entertainment and a producer, subject to the resort's rules.

How it works with a resort
You book the resort for the venue, the rooms and usually the catering. We are brought in for the layer that makes the wedding yours: design, décor, staging, entertainment and show-running. The resort approves what we install, and we adapt to its rules.
We will tell you early if a particular resort is unlikely to allow outside suppliers or specific installations, so you can decide before you commit to a design.
What an outside team adds
Resort packages are efficient, and by design they look alike. An independent design team can add a custom entrance, a bespoke stage, a floral concept and entertainment that fits the couple, without changing the venue's operations.
- Custom entrance and stage design
- Floral and fabric installations
- Entertainment programming: Ayyala, oud, live music
- Guest welcome and gifting
- A producer who coordinates with the resort's events team
What we do not do
We do not hold ceremonies on open beaches, dunes or other open areas in Ras Al Khaimah, because those need a licence we do not have. Everything we produce there takes place in the resort's own indoor and licensed spaces.

Styling and staging from our own events. The same décor, lighting and crew install inside your hotel ballroom or function room.
Questions about resort weddings in Ras Al Khaimah
Can you hold a beach ceremony?+
No. Events in open areas need a licence we do not hold, so we work only inside the resort's indoor venues.
Do resorts allow outside suppliers?+
Many do, with conditions. Approval rests with the resort, and we ask early.
Who handles the catering?+
The resort's kitchen, in nearly all cases.
Can we stay at the resort and use your design team?+
Yes. That is the most common arrangement.
