Ballroom wedding design and setup in Ras Al Khaimah
Sparkling Sandset designs and installs weddings inside Ras Al Khaimah's hotel ballrooms and reception halls: the entrance, the stage and kosha, the tables, the lighting and the entertainment. A dedicated wedding producer runs it, for small gatherings up to large family celebrations, depending on the room.

Why design matters in a ballroom
A hotel ballroom gives you the room, the kitchen and the logistics. It does not give you a wedding that looks like you. The difference is in what is installed: the entrance, the stage, the floral architecture, the table design, the lighting and the way the evening moves.
That is the work we do, and it is where most of a wedding's visual impact comes from.
What is included in the design and setup
We run a wedding as a production with a deadline and many people to look after. A producer owns the plan and you meet the same person at the first call and the last guest's departure.
- Entrance, walkway, stage or kosha design
- Floral and fabric installations, drapery and ceiling treatments
- Table design, centrepieces and styled seating
- Lighting design, LED, sound and live entertainment
- Bridal room styling and guest-welcome moments
- Coordination with the hotel's banqueting team on menu and timings
Working with the hotel
Most hotels have rules on load-in time, rigging, candles and outside suppliers. We settle these early, often at a site visit with the events manager, so the design is built for what the room allows.
Catering is normally the hotel's. We coordinate the tasting and service with its team.

Styling and staging from our own events. The same décor, lighting and crew install inside your hotel ballroom or function room.
Questions about ballroom weddings in Ras Al Khaimah
Do you hold weddings in the desert or on the beach in Ras Al Khaimah?+
No. We only work inside hotels and licensed indoor venues in Ras Al Khaimah, because open-area events need a licence we do not hold.
How many guests can the room hold?+
That depends on the ballroom. Large reception halls hold up to around 1,000, and smaller rooms suit intimate weddings.
Who provides the catering?+
Normally the hotel's kitchen. We coordinate the tasting, menu and service with the banqueting team.
Can we have a desert-style wedding indoors?+
Yes. Majlis seating, lanterns, rugs and heritage detail work well inside a ballroom.
