Private events in Ras Al Khaimah hotels and venues
A private event in Ras Al Khaimah is a room of your own for an evening: a ballroom, function room or private hall in a hotel or resort. Sparkling Sandset designs the look, installs the décor, staging and lighting, programmes the entertainment and runs the show, inside the venue you choose.
- Group size
- 40 to 400 guests, by venue
- Where
- Hotels, resorts, ballrooms, halls
- Transfer
- About 60 minutes from Dubai
- Not offered
- Open desert, mountain or beach events
What a private event means here
Most private events in Ras Al Khaimah are held in hotels, and most hotel events look alike: round tables, a stage, a screen. A private event with us starts from the opposite end. We agree what the evening is for, then design the room around it, using the venue's space rather than fighting it.
The format can be anything the room allows: a seated dinner, a standing reception, a majlis lounge layout, a gala or a family celebration.
How a night runs
Guests arrive to a welcome in the foyer, with Arabic coffee and dates if you want it, and move into a room that has been styled for them. Entertainment and speeches are timed around the dinner so the conversation is never cut across.
We design, install and run the event inside the venue you have chosen. The venue's own team looks after the room, its licences and its kitchen, and we bring the design, décor, staging, entertainment and show-running.
- Floor plan and design agreed with the venue's events team
- Décor, lighting, staging and AV installed on a load-in schedule
- Entertainment programmed to the room and its sound limits
- A producer and crew on site to run the evening
- Clear-down on the venue's timetable
Choosing the room
Choose the venue first, because ballroom dates are the limit. We can advise on which rooms suit your headcount, ceiling height, sightlines, load-in access and power, and we visit before we quote. A good room for a gala is not always a good room for a launch.

Styling and staging from our own events. The same décor, lighting and crew install inside your hotel ballroom or function room.
Questions about private events in Ras Al Khaimah
Do you hold private events in open areas such as the desert or the beach?+
No. Open-area events need a licence we do not hold. In Ras Al Khaimah we work only inside licensed indoor venues. Our open-desert events are held at our camp in Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi.
How many guests can you host?+
It depends on the room. Most events we run in Ras Al Khaimah are between 40 and 400 guests.
Do you choose the venue for us?+
You choose, and we advise. We can shortlist rooms that fit your guest count and brief and visit them with you.
Can we have a desert look indoors?+
Yes. Majlis seating, lanterns, rugs, fabric ceilings and Arabic coffee stations can turn a ballroom into an Arabian-inspired setting.
