MICE planners compare destinations on a short list: how easy is it to reach, what will delegates stay in, what is there to do and what is different. Fujairah scores respectably on the first, well on the last, and the middle two are where a supplier can help.

What it has

  • An international airport on the east coast.
  • Resorts and hotels with meeting space.
  • A short drive from Dubai and Sharjah.
  • A different landscape and heritage that gives programmes a story.

Where the gaps are

The meeting days are straightforward. The signature evening is harder. Most groups default to a hotel ballroom that gives nothing the delegates cannot get in any other city.

How we fit in

We design and produce the gala night inside the hotel, as a component for DMCs, PCOs and direct clients: heritage-inspired set design, entertainment, a strong arrival, a run sheet and documents.

A sample shape

  • Day one: arrive, welcome lunch, meetings, designed gala dinner.
  • Day two: breakfast session, closing workshop, departure.

Planning notes

Six to eight weeks for a large group. Brief on dietary, cultural and accessibility needs early. Plan coach counts per hotel.
