It is about ninety minutes from central Dubai to Fujairah. That makes a day trip possible, and the details decide whether it is a pleasure or a long drive.
Routes
There are two usual routes. One crosses the mountains by the road through Masafi and arrives on the coast. The other goes via the northern coast road. The mountain route is shorter and more scenic, the coastal route is flatter. Your coach operator will choose by destination and traffic.

A sample day
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 07:00 | Coaches depart Dubai |
| 08:45 | Arrive, coffee and breakfast |
| 09:30 | Morning session |
| 12:30 | Lunch |
| 14:00 | Workshop or team session |
| 16:30 | Closing and coaches depart |
| 18:15 | Back in Dubai |
Coaches
Count seats, not guests, and allow a spare. A marshal on each coach holds the list and a phone. Brief drivers on the hotel's coach drop-off.
When to stay overnight
For an evening event, a Dubai group would return at 11pm or later. A Fujairah hotel stay removes that drive and gives a relaxed morning before the return.
Delegate briefing
Send it two days ahead: departure point, time, dress, what is provided and the marshal's contact.
