Al Marjan Island is a man-made chain of islands off the Ras Al Khaimah coast, developed as a resort district. Searches combine it with "wedding" because several international resorts sit there, with ballrooms and sea views.

How weddings work there

On a resort island the resort is usually venue and supplier. You book a room, a package and a catering team, and any outside vendor works within the resort's rules. That keeps standards consistent and makes logistics simpler.

What an independent team can add

Where a couple wants a look the package does not offer, an outside team can supply design, florals, staging, entertainment or a wedding producer, if the resort permits. We work this way: your rooms and base stay with the resort, and the design layer is ours. Approval always rests with the resort.

Practical points

  • Ask which outside suppliers are allowed and whether there is a fee.
  • Confirm load-in time and the route from the loading area.
  • Check ceiling height and rigging limits for staging and décor.
  • Agree the latest finish and the clear-down window.

What we do not do

We do not produce ceremonies on the beach or in other open areas, since those need a licence we do not hold. Everything we do is inside the resort's indoor and licensed spaces.

FAQs

Can I hold a wedding on Al Marjan Island without a resort package?

Resorts control their own spaces, so a package or venue booking is normally part of the arrangement.

Can I bring my own florist or decorator?

That depends on the resort. Ask early.

When is the best time of year?

October to April for guest travel and comfort, and November to March is peak.

Do you handle the catering?

The resort normally does. We coordinate menus and timings with its team.
