Introducing Hadath: A UAE Events Guide That Shows Its Sources

Finding out what is on in the UAE should not mean reading six websites that disagree. Hadath, the Arabic word for "event", is a new guide to concerts, sport, festivals, exhibitions, comedy and theatre across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and the rest of the country. It is live at hadath.live, and there is a short introduction on our Hadath page.

What makes it different

Most listings pages tell you what and when. Hadath also tells you how it knows. Every listing names the organiser, links to the sources behind the date, venue and price, and shows the day the page was checked. When a date has been announced but not confirmed, the page says "announced". When a date depends on something that has not happened yet, such as a moon sighting, it says "expected".

Prices are the lowest category reported by a named source on a stated date, and they are labelled that way. They change, so the page sends you to the official seller to confirm.

Official tickets only

Hadath does not resell tickets and adds no markup. A ticket button opens the organiser's own page or an authorised seller such as Live Nation Middle East, Platinumlist or the venue's box office. That matters because fake ticket sites are a known problem in the UAE: see our guide to avoiding fake event tickets.

Finding what you want

  • The events calendar can be filtered by emirate, date, price and category, and viewed as a list, a grid or a month calendar.
  • Save events to a shortlist, share it by link and export it to your calendar.
  • Press Cmd or Ctrl and K anywhere on the site to search events, venues, organisers and guides.
  • 50 planning guides cover the season month by month, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week, National Day, Ramadan dates and how to plan around the busiest weeks.

For organisers and venues

If you run an event or a venue, you can ask for a listing at hadath.live/list-your-event. We check the details against your official site before publishing. Every outbound link carries tracking tags, so the visitors Hadath sends you show up in your own analytics. We explain how in a guide for organisers.

What Hadath is not

It is not a ticket seller, and it is not part of Sparkling Sandset's desert events business, which is a separate service. It does not claim an audience figure it cannot prove. It is a new guide, and its job is to be accurate.
