Things people often ask
How many guests can you host for a desert wedding?+
We've designed weddings from 20-guest elopements to 500-guest celebrations. Khayal Al Sahra Camp scales beautifully across both ends of that spectrum.
Can you accommodate a traditional Emirati ceremony alongside a Western one?+
Yes. Most of our couples blend traditions - we coordinate the Katb Al Kitab, Zaffa procession, and reception alongside Western vows, first dances, and cake-cutting in a single seamless evening.
Is the camp licensed for alcohol service?+
We arrange full bar service through our licensed F&B partners. Both alcoholic and dry packages are available, designed around your guest list.
What is the best time of year to host a desert wedding?+
October through April offers the most comfortable temperatures. Peak demand is November to February - we recommend booking 6 to 9 months ahead for these dates.
Do you handle bridal transport and guest logistics?+
Yes. We coordinate luxury 4x4 fleets from city hotels, on-site valet, and an arrival experience with welcome drinks, traditional incense, and camel processions if desired.
Can we host the Nikah ceremony at the camp?+
Absolutely. We work with registered officiants and prepare a private ceremonial setup within the dunes - typically followed by majlis seating, dinner, and entertainment.
