Khayal Al Sahra Camp is one of the few permanent luxury desert wedding venues in the UAE designed to host large weddings as a single seamless event. The whole site — majlis, dining pavilion, stage, dance floor, bridal suite, and dune-side ceremony platform — is reserved exclusively for one wedding at a time. Every element is fully customisable: floral design, lighting, menu, entertainment, and Emirati or fusion ceremony elements like the Zaffa procession, henna stations, and camel arrivals.

Khayal Al Sahra Camp is located in Al Khatim, Barma North — a 50-minute drive from Abu Dhabi city and roughly 90 minutes from Dubai. It sits in protected dune territory with no neighbouring properties, giving you total privacy for the ceremony and reception.
How much does a desert wedding in Abu Dhabi cost?+
Our weddings range from AED 5,000 for intimate elopements (up to 20 guests) to AED 50,000+ for full Royal-tier celebrations of 200–500 guests. Pricing is fully transparent and packages can be tailored — venue hire, décor, catering, entertainment, and staffing are all line items you control.
Can we host a Nikah or Katb Al Kitab at the camp?+
Yes. We work with registered officiants and prepare a private ceremonial setup within the dunes — typically followed by majlis seating, dinner, and a Zaffa entrance into the reception.
Do you handle guest transport from Abu Dhabi and Dubai hotels?+
Yes. We coordinate luxury 4x4 fleets and coaches from any pickup point in the UAE, on-site valet, and an arrival experience with welcome drinks, oud incense, and optional camel processions.
What's the best time of year for a desert wedding?+
October through April. Peak season is November to February — book 6–9 months ahead for those dates. Summer weddings are possible with shaded majlis, evening-only ceremonies, and climate-controlled tents.
Is the camp licensed for alcohol service?+
We arrange full bar service through our licensed F&B partners. Alcoholic and fully dry packages are both available.
